Focus on Energy - Home Performance with Energy Star Loan Program (WPS Customers Only)

April 05, 2012

Summary

Through the Home Performance with Energy Star program, Focus on Energy has teamed up with Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) to offer extra incentives for WPS customers who receive Home Performance with Energy Star evaluations. Customers must complete at least three of the improvements recommended by the auditor in order to be eligible for their choice of Double Rewards or Low-Interest Financing.

Customers who choose Low-Interest Financing can receive a loan with a 3.5% annual interest rate (rates are subject to change). Loans range from $2,500 to $10,000 and have no fees, points, or closing costs. Customers who choose this option also receive $250 in cash. More information about the Double Rewards option can be found here.

Energy consultants inspect home energy systems, help identify the most effective measures for increasing home efficiency, and, and assist participants applying for Cash-Back Rewards for the measures adopted. The cost of the energy evaluation and incentive amounts vary by case and by auditor recommendations.

Focus on Energy also offers Cash-Back Rewards on efficient heating and cooling equipment and on other selected energy efficient products.
