Garland Power & Light - EnergySaver Solar Rebate Program

August 11, 2023

A utility bill credit is available to encourage Garland Power and Light (GP&L) residential customers to install solar photovoltaic panels that meet the minimum requirements of the program. Credit amounts are calculated based on the electric energy produced and delivered to the City by the Customer's Power Producing Facility and the effective City Recovery Adjustment Factor (RAF). Credits will be provided at a rate of $0.0469/kWh. System maximums are 10kW-AC and 600 volts. Please direct any questions to 972-205-2929 or email or visit for complete details.
