Sevierville County Electric System, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority, offers an incentive for its residential customers to purchase and install new electric water heaters. The rebate is worth $100 for standard electric water heaters and $120 for marathon water heaters. To receive the rebate, customers must bring the bill of sale to the SCES office and schedule an appointment for visual inspection. Rebates will be credited to the customer's account. Participants of current Energy Right new homes or manufactured homes programs are not eligible for electric water heater incentives.
