Lawrenceburg Utility Systems - Energy Efficient New Homes Program

Summary

Lawrence Utility Systems, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority, offers a $150 rebate for home builders and homeowners whose homes achieve a minimum energy efficiency level based on the Home Energy Rating System (HERS). The home must be "all electric" in order to qualify for the incentive. Gas logs and dual fuel heat pumps are allowed under the program in certain Power Distributor areas. Residential customers that are interested in the program are asked to contact the New Homes Program Coordinator listed on the website.
