Jackson Energy Authority - Energy Efficient New Homes Program for Builders & Developers

Summary

Jackson Energy Authority, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority offers rebates to builders and developers who build new all-electric homes which meet Energy Right Program standards. Builders will receive $40 per 100 square feet to offset any extra cost for building to Energy Right standards. Eligible homes typically feature electric heat pumps and water heaters, along with high energy-efficiency standards for such things as insulation, windows and weather-stripping.
