Electric Power Board of Chattanooga - Residential Energy Efficient Water Heater Program

Summary

The Electric Power Board of Chattanooga, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority, offers a $50 rebate to its residential customers through its Energy Right Water Heater rebate. Customers who install a new electric water heater, which is replacing an older less efficient model are eligible for the rebate. Eligible units must have a capacity of at least 40 gallons and meet the minimum DOE requirements. Proof of purchase (receipt) and manufacturer’s description of the water heater must be attached to the application to receive the rebate.
