The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is looking to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides by repowering or replacing on-road diesel-fueled class 4-8 trucks with new vehicles that run on either diesel or alternative fuel. This program has a budget of around $3.5 million in 2020 and $6.5 million in 2024 from the Volkswagen State Environmental Trust fund. More information can be found on the program website.
