Orange and Rockland Utilities (Electric) - HVAC Efficiency Program

Summary

Orange and Rockland Utilities, in addition to the $500 NJ Clean Energy COOLAdvantage Customer Incentive, provides rebates for customers purchasing energy efficient HVAC equipment.  Equipment receiving an incentive under Tier 3 of the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program will not qualify for Rockland Electric's enhanced rebate, and the total rebate amount may not exceed the cost of the equipment.  The HVAC equipment  must qualifiy for a rebate under the New Jersey Office of Clean Energy's COOLAdvantage program and have received a home energy audit since January 2010 under the Office of Clean Energy's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program by a contractor that is qualified to conduct the audit.  Documentation must be received and complete at Rockland Electric before March 1, 2012.
