Lincoln Electric System - Geothermal Heat Pump Rebate

Summary

Lincoln Electric Systems (LES), a municipal utility, offers cash incentives to residential and commercial customers who install qualifying Geothermal Heat Pump Systems. LES began offering incentives to residents in 1982 and expanded the program to businesses in July 2001. Under the program, customers are eligible for incentive payments of $150 to $250 for new installations in single-family and multi-family homes, and commercial buildings. After the geothermal heat pump system is installed, the LES incentive application form must be completed and sent with proof of purchase to LES. The incentives are as follows: Geothermal heat pump with an EER below 12.0 - No incentive payment. Geothermal heat pump with an EER of 12.0 to 12.99 - $150 per ton of cooling capacity. Geothermal heat pump with an EER of 13.0 to 13.99 - $200 per ton of cooling capacity. Geothermal heat pump with an EER of 14.0 and above - $250 per ton of cooling capacity.
