N. Mariana Islands - Energy Star Rebate Program

February 27, 2012

Summary

February 2012 update:  This program is closed.  No additional rebates are available. This record is for information only.

Building upon a successful State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program in May and June 2010, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) began offering the Energy Star rebate program, utilizing funding secured through the Energy Efficient Conservation Block Grant program, funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Only residents of CNMI are eligible and the appliance must replace older, more inefficient models in existing homes OR it may be a first-time purchase for new homes. Only new, ENERGY STAR appliances qualify.

Verify the availability of the rebates before making purchasing decisions directly with the Energy Office at 670-664-4480/1.
