Mississippi Power - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

Mississippi Power offers customers a $200 rebate when they replace their old gas heating system with a heat pump with a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 16 or greater, and a $150 rebate when they replace their old gas water heater, with a new electric water heater with an Energy Factor greater than 0.90. Residential customers can also receive a $500 rebate for installing a geothermal heat pump. To receive the geothermal heat pump incentive, the home must meet the standards of the Mississippi Power EarthCents Home Program.
