Summary

Willmar Municipal Utilities has partnered with Missouri River Energy Services for Residential, Commercial and Industrial rebates. Rebates are available for a variety of energy efficient equipment including commercial refrigeration equipment, compressed air, food service equipment, HVAC, lighting, motors and drives, and pumps. All equipment must meet certain energy efficiency standards listed on the program website. Rebates are also available for contractors. Visit the program website for more information.

Custom Efficiency
The custom electric incentive is $270 per average kilowatt (kW) saved
during utility peak hours, which are defined as weekdays between the
hours of 1pm and 8pm during the months of June, July, August, and
September. Equipment must operate 1500 hours annually and must operate
regularly during the peak hours defined above in order to qualify
All custom electric incentives are limited to 75% of total project
cost, or 100% of material cost if self-installed.


Custom Electrification
If offered, the custom incentive will be determined by The Utility based
on the consideration of a variety of factors. All custom incentives are
limited to not exceed 75% of total project cost, or 100% of material cost if self-installed.
