Summary

To assist its commercial and industrial customers in financing energy efficiency improvements to their facilities, Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative provides over $100,000 total in grants every year for qualifying projects. The Commercial & Industrial Grant solicits business proposals for conservation projects such as high-efficiency motor retrofits, installation of energy-efficient lighting, chiller and ground source heat pumps and plate coolers. The amount of the C & I Grant is determined by calculating electric energy demand and usage reductions due to the installation of energy-efficient products.
