Duluth Comfort Systems offers a loan program for homeowners to increase the energy efficiency of homes located within the city. Loans are available for insulation, air sealing, furnace replacements, water heaters, lighting improvements, and certain appliances. The maximum loan is $30,000 for an owner occupied house and $15,000 per rental unit for non-owner occupied or multi-unit properties. All loans must be repaid within 10 years of project commencement.
