Detroit Public Lighting Department - Residential Energy Wise Program

Summary

The Detroit Public Lighting Department (PLD) offers residential customers rebates for energy efficient lights. In addition, low-income residential customers may qualify for free compact fluorescent lights (CFLs). Specific rebate amounts, equipment requirements, and applications are available on the program web site. Rebate amounts may not exceed the cost of the item. In order to qualify, lights must be purchased between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014. Applications must be postmarked by January 6, 2014. All applications must be submitted to: Detroit PLD Energy Wise Program, 2990 W.Grand Blvd. Ste. 310, Detroit, MI 48202 within 60 days of purchase.
