MMWEC Green Opportunity Commercial and Industrial Efficiency Program

August 11, 2023

Summary

Certain municipal utilities in Massachusetts, in cooperation with the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC), have begun offering energy efficiency incentives to their commercial and industrial customers. The MMWEC administers the programs on behalf of the municipal utilities. There are several programs offered; these generally include commercial and industrial retrofit programs, lighting programs, and new construction programs.

It should be noted that municipal utilities may choose to customize programs and not all utilities will offer exactly the same incentives to their customers. Interested customers should review the program descriptions and application materials of their municipal utility provider for specific incentive information.
