Summary

Washington Gas offers incentives to its commercial customers in Maryland for making energy efficiency improvements. Rebates are available for facilities in the following sectors: Education, Food Service, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Multifamily Property, Offices, and Small Commercial. Rebates are available based on nonresidential business types for qualifying water heaters, furnaces, thermostats, and cooking equipment.

The Company also offers energy savings kits for customers to install themselves including pipe insulation, sealing gaskets, caulk, sealant, door sweeps, and more.


Eligibility

All commercial customers of Washington Gas in Maryland are eligible to apply for the rebate. Rebates are offered for select qualifying appliances and equipment listed on the website. Applications for rebates are available on the program website, which must be filled out and submitted to the company before the end of the program year. Equipment must be installed by a licensed contractor when applicable.
