Marietta Power and Water - Heat Pump and Water Heater Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

Marietta Power and Water is a community owned utility that operates under Gas South which provides power for 220,000 customers throughout Georgia. In Collaboration with Gas South, Marietta Power and Water offers rebates for electric heat pump and water heater installation. If both the heat pump and water heater are purchased the rebate will increase to $500. The heat pump must have a 5 year warranty to qualify, used heat pumps will not qualify for rebate. The water heater must have a 5 year warranty, have a tank size of 40 gallons or larger, and have a insulation rating of R-11 or higher. Marietta Power and Water also offers a $50 rebate for converting to a 1.6 gallon flush toilet and a $100 rebate for converting to a 1.28 gallon flush toilet.
