Jackson EMC - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

Jackson Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is an electric cooperative that serves 194,000 customers in 10 counties in northeast Georgia.  To encourage its residential customers to adopt energy efficient equipment in their homes, Jackson EMC provides rebates for qualified heat pumps and water heaters.  

Customers may also be eligible for a $200 rebate if they have a home energy evaluation audit performed. This audit also qualifies them for up to $400 in rebates for duct sealing and replacement, as well as for insulation and air sealing.
