Flint Energies EMC - Gas to Electric Rebate Program

August 18, 2008

Summary

Flint Energies provides an incentive for its customers to switch from gas to electric. A $450 rebate will be paid to any Flint Energies member who replaces their gas heating system with an energy efficient heat pump, or replaces a gas water heater with an energy efficient electric model. To participate, members must fill out the installation verification form after the work is complete. Customers must also have a load management switch installed on their new equipment to be eligible for the rebate. Flint Energies will provide $25 for the installation of the switch. This incentive is subject to change or termination at any time, so members are urged to check on program status with Flint Energies before installing new equipment.
