Summary

Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) offers rebates on a variety of energy efficient improvements for commercial customers.Prescriptive and custom incentives are available. Eligible measures include:

  • Window Film or Solar Screens
  • Energy Star Windows
  • Cool/Reflective Roof
  • Ceiling Insulation Upgrades
  • Heat Pumps
  • Duct Repair/Replacements
  • A/C Proper Sizing w/ R-30 Attic Insulation
  • Energy Star Heat Pump Water Heaters

Random on-site verification may be scheduled prior to issuing rebates. Rebates are paid as a credit on the customer's bill.

Ceiling Insulation Upgrade: $0.10 per sq. ft.
Heat Pump: $45 - $1,150 per unit
Duct Repair/Replacement: 100% of cost up to $100
A/C Proper Sizing w/ R-30 Attic Insulation: $90
Energy Star Heat Pump Water Heater: 100% of cost up to $500

Custom Incentive Program, including Lighting Rebate
Non-lighting projects:$550 per kW of demand reduction, plus $0.032 per kWh for qualifying first-year energy savings.
Lighting projects*: $250 per kW of demand reduction.
