City of Ocala Electric Utility - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

The City of Ocala Electric Utility, serving more than 50,000 customers in Ocala and Marion County, offers rebates for residential energy efficiency upgrades. Rebates are valid for the replacement of up to 5 Ton (60,000 BTU) central HVAC systems with those that are Energy Star qualified. A rebate form must be completed and turned into OEU, along with proof of purchase, contractor’s invoice and Certificate of ARI Certified Performance, within 30 days of installation. The rebate only applies to the purchase and installation of a complete system (indoor and outdoor or package unit, for verification of SEER or EER equipment). Ocala also offers a $75 rebate for residential customers who upgrade existing attic insulation to R-19 or R-30. Please see the rebate guidelines for more information
