Southeast Colorado Power Association - Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

Southeast Colorado Power Association (SECPA) offers a variety of rebates to customers who purchase and install energy efficient appliances, motors and HVAC equipment. Eligible equipment includes the following:

  • Appliances
  • Water heater
  • Heat pump
  • VSD/VFD
  • Electric motors
  • Electric thermal storage
  • Air conditioners
  • LED security lighting
  • LED lighting
  • LED yard lighting

Commercial and residential customers are eligible for these rebates. All efficiency requirements and program procedures must be met in order to be eligible for rebate payment. Some rebates on pieces of equipment vary by size, capacity, or efficiency. Note that the rebates listed here are a combination of those offered by Tri-State and those offered by SECPA. LED Lamps: lower of $8/lamp or fixture or 50% of cost
Water Heaters: Varies, see website
Refrigerators/freezers: $30/unit plus $60/unit additional for refrigerator/freezer recycling

Irrigation Motors: $8/HP plus $1.50/HP wiring assistance if the motor replaces a fossil fuel engine or is a new installation
