Longmont Power & Communications - Efficiency Works for Business Rebate Program

July 07, 2015

Summary

Longmont Power and Communications offers access to Efficiency Works, an energy efficiency incentive program administered by wholesale power provider, Platte River Power Authority. Efficiency Works offers free facility assessments to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements. Efficiency Works also offers the Building Tune-Up service, which is specifically designed for retrocommissioning: diagnostics, documentation and fixing operational issues related to specific building energy systems that are not performing up to the original design intent or the owner's operational needs.

Rebates cover a wide variety of energy efficiency upgrades, including: lighting, HVAC, building envelope, food service equipment, grocery, IT and Office, and motor VFDs.

In addition to rebates, business customers may qualify for the Business Efficiency Grant, which awards $2,000 per project. By implementing multiple projects, businesses can qualify for a $1,000 bonus, with a total maximum grant of $5,000.

The total incentive amount (rebates and grants) is limited to 75% of the cost of implementation. Pre-approval is required for incentives valued at more than $1,000. See website for more details and the most up-to-date rebate information.
