Empire Electric Association - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

Empire Electric Association and its wholesale power supplier Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association pay incentives to residential members purchase and install qualifying Energy Star® appliances, outdoor electric equipment, or electric vehicle chargers. 

The deadline to submit an application is within 90 days of purchase and the incentive is based on the program in effect when the rebate is submitted to EEA.

Refrigerators and Freezer rebates for new purchases are no longer available as of January 1, 2023. If you purchased a qualifying refrigerator or freezer in 2022 you can submit a rebate until February 26 2023 if you meet all of the 2022 requirements including the 90 day limit. 

Clothes Washer rebates are no longer available as of January 1, 2023. If you purchased a qualifying clothes washer in 2022 you can submit a rebate until February 26 2023 if you meet all of the 2022 requirements including the 90 day limit.
