City of Aurora - Main Street Commercial Energy Efficiency & Conservation Rebate Program

November 22, 2011

Summary

Rebates are layered on existing Xcel Energy efficiency and conservation rebates. Participants must first be eligible for and receive an Xcel Energy rebate before applying for an Aurora rebate. The City of Aurora will rebate to the participant the same dollar amount as the received Xcel Energy rebate, up to the defined maximums. Only material/system purchases for the energy efficiency project are refundable; the City of Aurora will not refund installation. The rebate amount may not exceed the materials cost of the project.

Interested Aurora residents should call 1-800-895-4999 or visit www.xcelenergy.com to learn how to apply for Xcel Energy rebates. From Xcel’s homepage, select “Colorado” from the state menu. Choose “Residential” on the top navigation bar, and select “Programs & Resources.”

All eligible installations must be completed by a professional contractor who is registered with Xcel Energy. Professional contractors may easily register at www.xcelenergy.com. Select “Colorado” from the state menu, then select the “Energy Partners” tab from the top of the web page. Click on “Trade Partners.” Select “Residential Programs” on the left navigation area and follow the instructions to register.
