Summary

The Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program is offered by SoCalGas with funding from California utility customers and oversight from the California Public Utilities Commission. ENERGY STAR Certified Natural Gas Furnace: Up to $25 per kBtuh rebate. Natural Gas Fireplace Inserts: $300 rebate - Tier I (70-74.9 FE) $500 rebate - Tier II (75% FE or greater) High-Efficiency Natural Gas Storage Water Heaters: $75 rebate. High-Efficiency or ENERGY STAR Certified Natural Gas Tankless Water Heaters: $80 to $1,500 rebate. ENERGY STAR Certified Natural Gas Dryer: $70 rebate (min. 3.48 CEF). Natural Gas Wall Oven: $500 rebate (must replace existing natural gas wall oven). Natural Gas Oven: $120 rebate (must replace existing natural gas oven).
