SDG&E (Gas) - Multi-Family Residential Efficiency Program

November 18, 2011

Summary

San Diego Gas and Electric (SDGE) natural gas incentives have been suspended in September due to the State of California 2011-2012 Fiscal Year Budget (SB87) provision that authorizes a transfer of funds from the Gas Public Purpose Program (PPP) Fund to the State General Fund. Pending a decision from the CPUC, projects that have not been postmarked or received a post-installation inspection prior to July 22, 2011 will not be given incentives. Multi-family Residential building owners and residents of SDGE are eligible for rebates on energy-efficient natural gas equipment. Participating retailers provide instant rebates on eligible products; a list of retailers is available on the program web site.
