Alameda Municipal Power - Solar Photovoltaics Rebate Program

Alameda Municipal Power offers an incentive program to customers who install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Rebates will be provided to commercial and residential customers on a per-watt AC basis, which, in keeping with the terms of the California Solar Initiative, will decline over the life of the program according to a 10-year schedule. Each succeeding year has a lower incentive amount and a higher maximum aggregate capacity for installations. For 2015, the rebate level is $1.68 per watt for systems less than 50 kilowatts (kW). Over the life of the program, Alameda Municipal Power has a goal of 2,127 kW of new solar capacity. The full 10-year incentive declination schedule can be found on the web site above.

Equipment Requirements: All flat plate PV modules and inverters must be on the California Energy Commission's list of approved equipment. A minimum 10 year warranty is required for all systems.
