Summary

Mandatory solar energy equipment certification is performed by the Arkansas Department of Health. Relevant equipment includes active solar water and space heating, passive space heating, and photovoltaic systems. Equipment is required to meet the 2003 International Plumbing Code standards and solar systems are covered under Section 612.
