Small Business Revolving Loan Fund

Summary

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) offers low-interest loans to small businesses to institute pollution control measures required by state or federal law, or to institute pollution prevention and waste reduction measures. Loans can be used to purchase equipment or make process changes to fulfill one or more of the activities:

  • Elimination or reduction of wastes, effluents, and emissions at the source
  • Conservation of natural resources
  • Reuse of materials and recycling
  • Procurement of environmentally preferable products

Loan applications can be found on the program website or interested applicants can contact the Business Assistance section of the ADEQ. Applications must include a completed loan application, tax returns from the last three years, and a complete description of and construction cost estimates for the proposed project.
