Ozarks Electric Cooperative - Home Energy Lending Program

May 08, 2019

Summary

Ozarks Electric Cooperative offers the Home Energy Lending Program (H.E.L.P) to residential members to help make energy efficiency improvements in eligible homes. Certified contractors first perform an energy assessment of eligible participants' homes regarding technologies such as air sealing, duct sealing, attic insulation and more. Upon completion of the assessment, the program will review the results with participants and determine areas of improvement, loan details and estimated savings. Once improvements and terms are agreed upon, certified contractors would conduct the energy efficiency improvements. After all improvements have been made and checked for quality, total project costs will be financed on participants' electric bills. Eligible homes have highest summer bill per square foot over $0.10 per square foot. Interested customers should refer to the program website for more information and to access program applications.
