Summary

Central Alabama Electric Cooperative (CAEC) provides rebates for dual fuel systems and mini-split systems in both standard and manufactured homes. Mini-split systems must meet minimum SEER(1) rating requirements. CAEC also offer rebates for new and existing manufactured homes that replace an electric furnace with a heat pump. Converting from an electric furnace to a heat pump and receive the following: $400 per ton to the homeowner
Dual Fuel: $350/ton
Mini-split
14 SEER- $250/ton
15 SEER – $350 per ton
16 SEER or greater – $350/ton
Eligible System Size: SEER: 14,15,16 or greater
Installation Requirements: Installer must have a business license for installing HVAC systems
