Daniel Schilens is one of the Founders of EnergyBot and serves as the Chief Operations Officer and Head of Commercial Energy. EnergyBot leverages data and technology to build the smartest customer acquisition platform in the energy industry. Dan has over 20 years of leadership experience in the competitive deregulated energy markets having successfully managed various sales, marketing, operational and strategic development efforts throughout his career.
Prior to EnergyBot, Dan held a number of leadership positions for several retail supply companies including Mint Energy, DPL Energy, First Choice Power and Constellation. While serving as President of DPL Energy Resources, an AES Company, prior to the sale of the business in 2016, Dan led multiple business units including the lighting business and served as the interim Vice President of Distributed Generation.
Prior to the energy industry, Dan has held a number of other leadership positions in the deregulated telecommunications industry.
Dan has an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and a BA from Baldwin Wallace University.
