This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") discloses the practices of Blitz Ventures, a Delaware LLC ("Blitz Ventures," "we" or "us") concerning information we obtain by and through your use of the EnergyBot website located at www.energybot.com and the EnergyBot app made available through ChatGPT, and any subdomains thereto (collectively, the "Sites"), and through other interactions and communications you have with us (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Services and becomes effective as soon as you access or use the Sites.
Blitz Ventures is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of information you share with us. When you use the EnergyBot app through ChatGPT to search for electricity plans, we may collect and process the information you provide in your request. A ZIP code is required in order to return electricity plans available in your area. Estimated electricity usage is optional, but may be used to improve plan rankings, estimated monthly bill calculations, and other pricing comparisons. We may also process information contained in your request relating to plan-shopping preferences.Personal information identifies or describes a person or can be directly linked to a specific individual. Examples of personal information include, but are not limited to, a person’s name, mailing address, billing address, telephone number, email address, credit or debit card number, security code and expiration date, and information related to a user’s device and location.
Based on the information you provide, we may derive service-area and comparison information necessary to fulfill your request, such as available providers, applicable delivery utility or TDU, plan eligibility, rate structure, estimated monthly bill, All-in Rate, and related comparison details.
The information you provide will be used to respond to your request, identify and compare electricity plans available in your area, calculate and display estimated pricing and related comparison information, operate and improve the Services, and maintain the security and integrity of the Services. This information will not be disclosed to a third party unless required by law, court order, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
Blitz Ventures or its contracted vendors do not sell, trade, or rent your information to anyone, except when the purpose and manner of the disclosure has been disclosed to you prior to your providing the information.
We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, or helping us provide electricity plan and pricing data. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the information they need to deliver the service for which they are hired. We require these companies to maintain the confidentiality of the information they receive and prohibit them from using that information for any other purpose.
The EnergyBot app available through ChatGPT is intended to help you search for and compare electricity plans. It does not complete enrollments within ChatGPT. If you choose a plan, you may be directed outside of ChatGPT to an EnergyBot page, provider page, or other external page to review plan details or complete enrollment. Any information you provide after leaving the Services will be subject to the privacy policy and terms of the applicable third party.
Blitz Ventures is committed to the security of customer information. Blitz Ventures, together with its service providers, stores information provided through the Services on computer servers that are located in secure, controlled facilities and protected by administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to prevent unauthorized access.
Aggregate data is statistical information that is derived from collective data that relates to a group or category of persons. Aggregate data reflects the characteristics of a large group of anonymous people. Blitz Ventures may use aggregate data and provide aggregate data to others to generate statistical reports for the purpose of managing Blitz Ventures operations.
