Copy of Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power (Gas) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

July 07, 2011

Summary

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power offers incentives to gas customers who construct new energy efficient homes or install energy efficient equipment in existing homes. Incentives are available for home energy audits, tank water heaters, tankless water heaters, boilers, furnaces, insulation, duct sealing, infiltration control and newly constructed homes.  Generally, equipment purchases and installation must be completed between June 9, 2011 and June 8, 2012. Project completion paperwork must be received by July 6, 2012. Customers must send copies of receipts with application for energy efficiency incentives to the address identified on the program application. Newly constructed homes served by natural gas are eligible for a three-tiered incentive offering. Certain equipment efficiency requirements must be met to receive the $1,500 incentive, while specified HERS ratings must be met in order to receive rebates under the top tiers.
