Note: Energy efficiency program appointments and rebates are on a first-come, first-served basis and are for a limited time only. Once a program reaches its maximum capacity for the year, the program will resume the next calendar year. All rebate submissions for 2023 must be postmarked by December 31, 2023.
PNM offers several types of incentives for residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of eligible homes. Rebates are available for appliances and cooling equipment.
PNM also offers the PNM Home Energy Checkup, which gives residential customers a snapshot of their home's electricity use and identifies opportunities to reduce electricity waste. The fee for any Home Energy Checkup package is waived for customers meeting certain income requirements.
Based on the results of the Home Energy Checkup, a residence may qualify for additional appliance and cooling rebates. Rebates are available for refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers and dryers, dishwashers, air purifiers, air conditioning units, attic/ceiling insulation, and smart thermostats.
