The program is administered through Efficiency United, an alliance of Michigan utilities seeking to promote energy efficiency. Equipment and measures include installation of CFL bulbs, refrigerator replacement, variable speed motor replacement, insulation, furnaces, water heaters, and programmable thermostats. To qualify for the Energy Efficiency Assistance program, you must be eligible for the Department of Energy weatherization program and your household income must be at or below the published federal guidelines for this program.
