The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in partnership with local electric utilities offers eScore program, which provides homeowners financial incentives to increase the energy efficiency of existing homes. This program replaces the previous In-Home Energy Evaluation Pilot program offered by TVA.
To participate in the program, homeowner must create an account with the program. After the account is verified, the applicant has two options to participate in the program:
The program website also offers an online energy evaluation of the house, after which TVA will send in an energy report along with a free energy conservation kit. List of QCN contractors is available after creating an account with the program. If work has already been performed by a contractor, the homeowner might still qualify for the rebates if the contractor is provided the participant’s Customer Site ID.
Specific incentive amounts vary based on a customers' individual power companies. Customers should have their electric bill on hand when registering for the eScore program to determine their tailored rebates.
