New Smyrna Beach - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Summary

The Utilities Commission of New Smyrna Beach (UCNSB) is offering rebates to commercial customers for the purchase and implementation of energy efficient LED exit signs, increased insulation, and window solar screens. An example of some of the rebates are as follows:

• LED EXIT sign rebate: 50% of installed cost of sign, up to $75 credit for each existing exit sign replaced (max. 5 per location)
• Window solar screen rebate: $1/square foot of window area up to a $300 credit (non-demand commercial only)
• Added insulation rebate: $0.08/square foot up to a $300 credit (non-demand commercial only)

 All commercial customers are eligible for LED exit sign rebates, while only commercial non-demand customers are eligible for insulation and window solar screen rebates. Interested commercial customers should view the program application for full equipment and installation details. Customers should contact UCNSB to ensure availability of funds before undertaking any projects. A completed application form, copies of receipts, and photos of the old exit signs are required.
