City of Oakland - Photovoltaic Generation Systems Project

Summary

Oakland has issued a Request for Proposals for "Photovoltaic Generation Systems" in an effort to add solar PV systems onto 12 City buildings at 8 locations. It is estimated that this project will inspire the design and installation of approximately 300 - 500 kW of solar PV panels. The project will be conducted under the direction of the City of Oakland, Public Works Agency, Electrical Services Division. For more information view the notice to bidders. Proposals for this solicitation were due December 12, 2003, and the deadline was extended to December 19, 2003. Three proposals were received.
