Entergy Arkansas - Residential Compact Fluorescent Quick Start Program

Summary

The Residential Compact Fluorescent (CFL) Quick Start Program is an energy efficiency program designed to educate and influence Entergy Arkansas residential customers to purchase and use ENERGY STAR-qualified CFLs in their homes. Coupons worth $3 and $4 off of a CFL pack are available to consumers to “buy-down” the cost of CFLs. The program educates customers about CFL benefits and advantages over incandescent lighting, and motivating retailers and dealers to promote the energy savings and cost savings benefits of CFLs. Between December 2007 and December 2009, all Entergy Arkansas customers will receive a coupon to be used to discount the price of ENERGY STAR-rated CFLs when purchased at participating retailers.
